Every destination is safety-checked before a link goes live, links have no ads, and links keep working even if the owner stops paying. Plans start free; paid plans from $5/mo.

- Website, sign-in and API: shortturtle.com. Short links: shrtl.us (the main link address), and every link also works on shortturtle.us; srtl.us and sh7.us on paid plans; customers' own domains on Pro and up. shortturtle.com itself never hosts short links.
- Sign in: https://shortturtle.com/links. Sign-up is invite-only for now (ask a member for an invite); new accounts are for people in the United States. Anyone anywhere can open a link.
- Preview any Short Turtle link without opening it by adding "+" to the end (example: shrtl.us/abc123+).
- Links keep working as long as people use them: only a link with no visits, scans, taps or edits for 183 days (over 6 months) stops, after warning emails.
- Click history is kept 27 months on every plan.
- Pronounced "short turtle"; the name said fast sounds a little like "short URL". Mascot: a turtle ("Slow animal. Fast links.").
